The Eistraum transforms the Rathausplatz in the center of Vienna into a huge ice skating rink. An ice area of up to 9500 m² with an extraordinary ice skating terrace invites you to cruise around. Normally there are always several snack stands for strengthening and warming up on-site during the opening hours.
From the mid of November, during the opening times of the Christkindlmarkt , there is a smaller ice area with around 3000 m² in the Rathauspark next to the popular Christmas market. The larger ice skating area will only be available from mid of January 2027.

on Fridays till 21:00 o'clock,
24.12. and 31.12. from 9:00 to 15:00 o'clock,

Saturday, Sunday and holiday per adult: approx. 12,00 Euro,

Metro U4 U-Bahn Station Stadtpark
A further ice skating rink is located in between the Stadtpark and the Konzerthaus (Lothringerstraße 22). All who can't await the start of the skating season are here at the right place. Here you can skate in the city center on 6000 m² ice area already from the beginning of November and you do not need to wait until the opening of the Eistraum at the Rathausplatz.
