Doblhoffpark
In the Doblhoffpark you will find a beautiful lake with ducks, different flowers, an old stock of trees and a well-kept lawn on over 8 ha. The park is close to the town center. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the pedestrian zone to Doblhoffpark.
Video Section for Attraction!After a walk through the park you can rest directly beside the lake on a park bench or in the cafe. There you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Doblhoffpark. But also the children can enjoy the park at a huge playground, where the noise level is usually a bit higher than in the rest of the park.
The history of the Doblhoffpark dates back to around the 15th century. From that time on the castle Weikersdorf has been located next to the park area. Today the castle is in use as a hotel. Since then the area beside the castle has been used as a garden and park. Around 1966 the property changed to the municipality Baden and at that time today's Doblhoffpark originated.
